21 Savage Launches Bank Account Campaign to Teach Minority Teens About Financial Literacy

After the incident with ICE, 21 Savage is back to work as a role model in Atlanta.

A lot of people don’t know this about 21 Savage, but he switched a lot of his methods up in the past years, and started focusing on helping the black community.

He started charities, gave talks, and gave donations to causes that help out urban areas.

He also promoted spending money wisely, and stopped rapping a lot about jewelry/chains/watches, also practiced not promoting or wearing them much.

21 Savage has just launched a new campaign that will teach teens about financial literacy.

On February 27th, Wednesday, 21 Savage launched his Bank Account Campaign, which will put the proper resources in place to teach financial literacy to teenage students across the United States.

21 Savage said in a statement that he put out a song called “Bank Account”, but knew almost nothing about bank accounts” while growing up. He said:

“As I have gotten smarter about financial management, I realize how empowering it is to control your money rather than be controlled by it,”

He continued to say:

“I want to help kids with a background similar to mine to get smart about their money.”

21 Savage teamed up with  non-profits Juma and Get Schooled to bring this vision about, and underrepresented youth with a background similar to his educated, and lift them up.

21 Savage says he wants to teach kids about about Credit, Banks, and how to better spend and save their money to they don’t fall prey to predatory credit companies.
