R. Kelly walked free from his Jail Cell on Monday evening.
R. Kelly, who was supposed to pay $100,000, 10% of the 1million bail that was set, was unable to pay it over the weekend.
R. Kelly was getting hit left and right with different large amounts of fees, and even had his ex wife hit him with child support fees that reached close to 200,000 dollars. He also owes thousands in government fees, and hundreds of thousands in unpaid housing fees.
He stayed over the weekend, and it wasn’t until Monday that he received good news that someone had gathered $100,000 for him to make bail.
When R. Kelly was arrested, hundreds of phone calls from women flocked into the County Cook Court Building demanding to know how they could go about posting bail money for R. Kelly.
Women even started a gofundme page, that started raising thousands of dollars to bail R. Kelly out. The page was later removed by GoFundMe.
On Monday, February 26th, court records indicate that on a 47-year-old suburban Romeoville woman posted the bond for Kelly, identifying herself on the bond slip as “a friend” of the singer’s.
The person who bailed him out is Valencia Love, she lives just outside Chicago in Romeoville. On the form she submitted in Cook County Court stated that she is friends with Kelly.
Valencia Love owns a number of restaurants, and owns a Christian Daycare called the Lord and Child Christian Day Care.

They headed to McDonald’s after he was released.
Valencia said, “I only helped a friend out”.
If you’re always asking yourself, “why is this man not in prison”, “Why is this man still not in jail, why is he walking the streets”, “why did it take so long”, “Why is it this hard to bring him down”, the answer was never that hard, and was always in front of you.
